Changing the perception of STEM

With too few young people choosing to study STEM options at school, college and university, npower is committed to taking a long-term approach to attracting young people into these exciting areas of learning whilst helping them to understand what they can do to save energy and the environment.

Through our npower Brighter Futures programme we aim to inspire and engage students in science, technology, engineering and maths at all stages of their learning to promote the exciting benefits of a STEM related career, with the enthusiasm of our employees.

We offer support to education professionals in delivering these exciting subjects by focusing on the use of STEM in our business. This assists us in addressing the recruitment and skills challenges faced by our engineering business and the energy industry.
